Delivery is Back!

Our two latest shipments of coffee beans have arrived.

Hello friends!

These brisk, sunny mornings are perfectly paired with sunglasses and a well-insulated mug. All of our paperwork is now in order and we will officially be starting at the second week of the Methow Valley Farmer’s Market this April [1].

Also, we’ve managed to secure periodic access to some extremely fine, extremely rare coffee. There’s not a lot of it to go around, so we’re thinking of hosting some small events for those of you who are really big coffee nerds. More details to come in the next week or two.

We’ve also started our delivery of coffee beans again! See below for our current offerings.

Coffee Run Club

We’re starting this week. If you know me, you know that I’m going to be out running anyway so I figured I might as well invite you all along. Since I have no idea yet which days will work, this coming week we’ll have two!

Sunday, March 23 at 9 am

and

Wednesday March 26th at 8 am.

We’re still waiting for all the snow to melt - and the seasonal mule deer closures to end. So this week we’ll be running up on Bear Creek Road. I expect we’ll meet near the Lester turn off to Pipestone Canyon. Stay tuned to our Instagram or Facebook accounts for more details.

Please bring your own mug. I’ll be there with coffee about 30 minutes prior to run. Please RSVP so I know how much coffee to bring. Expect to run about 3 miles or so. There should be enough coffee to enjoy when we get back.

Current Bean Offerings

We’ve got jars out and ready to pour, just reply to this email if you’re looking for some new beans.

  • Light Roast | The big new arrival this week is from Elm Coffee Roasters. We’re excited to try the very unique Jhoan Vergara (Huila, Colombia). Word is that it develops really nicely with a bit of rest, so we’re going to give it a few more days before cracking it open.

  • Dark Roast | We’ve also go the Columbia River Dark Roast [2] (Tarrazú, Costa Rica) from Wenatchee’s own Mela Coffee. This was a huge hit at the Farmer’s market last year.

  • Decaf | We’ve still got some light roast Cruiser (Colombia) from Treeline Coffee Roasters. It’s a classy, sugarcane process decaf with hints of orange and cinnamon.

We wrote in detail about our new deliveries in last week’s newsletter.

[1] We’ll be up early serving coffee, water, bananas and other aid station fare at the Yakima Skyline trail races on weekend of April 12.

[2] This is a relatively new roast for them. They also roast these beans in a light roasted format, which is one of my favorite coffees they produce.
