Treeline | Mamacita

Treeline’s “Mamacita” is a pleasant, bright yet soft on the palate washed process coffee produced in Columbia by Carolina Ramirez.

Ramirez also happens to be a lawyer and an endurance runner!

This was a great morning coffee, bright with with a soft mouthfeel. Lemon bar is a really great characterization. The back end is a bit harder to explain. For me the "strawberry flower" presented as a general floral / herbal note that can hint towards Thyme for some folks.

Being a women owned company, Treeline Coffee Roasters has a great tradition of sourcing great coffee from women growers, and this mother-daughter team of Carolina and Maria Victoria Ramirez is a great example.
