Treeline | By the Light of the Moon

This is a great afternoon coffee! It’s delicate and complex, rooted in notes of dark chocolate. I really enjoyed it made in a mock-espresso style using a Moka pot, which really brought out the citrusy notes which Treeline noted as orange zest.

It was also a favorite coffee of a local baker whom I convinced to offer Treeline here in the Methow for a while.

This coffee is organically grown with care in Nicaragua by Byron Corrales at Fincas los Pinos. Evidently Byron had a huge impact on Natalie from Treeline when she was just starting out. You can read more about him and Fincas Los Pinos on their website.
